Children’s Ministry
Join us for Sunday School each week from 9:45 to 10:45 am. Students are divided into age-appropriate classes from preschool up through fifth grade. Kids enjoy learning about God's Word through games, activities, multimedia, and fellowship. All kids' Sunday School classes meet on the bottom floor of the Education Building. Enter through the fellowship hall doors and follow the signs to the kids' check-in area.
During the 11:00 Sunday Worship Service, kids ages 3-3rd grade have the opportunity to worship together during our KidZone program. We have a preschool class and two elementary-age classes where the kids worship together and learn about God’s Word through Bible study, crafts, music, physical activities, and small group time. KidZone meets in the main building beneath the sanctuary.
Join us on Wednesday nights at 6:15 for a church-wide fellowship meal followed by Bible study for adults and "Bible Blast Off" for kids. Preschool and elementary students will go to music and art class, learn in graded Bible study classes, and enjoy fellowship during games and recreation. Bible Blast Off meets in the Children's Area on the bottom floor of the Education Building.
Nursery care for babies and toddlers is available during every service - Sunday School, Sunday Worship, and Wednesday Night Bible Study - by our paid nursery staff and background-checked volunteers. On Sunday, nursery care is provided in our brand new nursery suite on the second floor of the Sanctuary Building. On Wednesday, nursery is held on the bottom floor of the Education Building.
Our Mission
Our LABC Children’s Ministry believes in growing a deep and wide faith in kids through the education in the Gospel, serving our community, and fellowshipping with one another. From the earliest age we want the kids to know the basic truths of God’s Word and how we can apply those in our daily lives. Our volunteers provide age-appropriate small groups where the kids can connect and learn with one another, as well as large group gatherings where they can worship together.
